artist statement

I create artwork that evokes emotion and enhances the atmosphere of a space.
Earth tones feel organic and peaceful. Bright, warm colors uplift. Neon shades add playfulness. A touch of metallic can bring richness.

When I begin a painting, I often revisit imagery that intrigues me—abstracted photos of nature, architecture, or objects captured in unexpected ways. I might also explore my digital sketchbook, filled with quick studies of striking color and form combinations.

Each piece evolves from this visual archive and my ongoing experimentation with paints, mediums, tools, and techniques—all in pursuit of a fresh and compelling visual experience.
